Lymph Node Excision (Biopsy) Cost Without Insurance in Arlington, TX
Cash price: $3,500 all-in. When an enlarged lymph node needs a diagnosis, removing the whole node gives pathology the most complete sample. Dr. P offers lymph node excision at one flat cash price.

Every DRP Surgery cash price is one flat number covering the surgeon, facility, anesthesia and pathology. No separate bills later. The initial consultation and evaluation is $200, and your exact procedure and price are confirmed at that visit before anything is scheduled.
What is a lymph node excision?
Lymph nodes are small glands in the neck, armpits, groin and elsewhere that help fight infection. They often swell for a short time with an infection, but a node that stays enlarged, keeps growing or comes with other symptoms may need to be examined.
In an excisional biopsy, Dr. P removes the entire node so a pathologist can study it. This can identify infection, inflammatory conditions, lymphoma or cancer that has spread from elsewhere. Pathology is included in the price.
When a lymph node excision may be recommended
- A lymph node that stays enlarged for several weeks
- A node that is hard, fixed in place or growing
- Enlarged nodes with fevers, night sweats or unexplained weight loss
- A needle biopsy that did not give a clear answer
- Imaging that shows suspicious nodes
What to expect
The procedure is done as an outpatient through a small incision over the node, under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia depending on where the node is. Dr. P will go over the plan and timing of results at your consultation.
Recovery
Most people go home the same day and get back to normal activity within a few days. Dr. P will review the pathology results with you and help coordinate next steps if needed.
What the $3,500 includes
- Surgeon fee for Dr. Rajesh S. Padmanabhan, MD, FACS, board-certified general surgeon
- Facility fee
