DRP Surgery, minimally invasive – maximum comfort, is an initiative of Rajesh S. Padmanabhan, MD, FACS (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) and certified by the ABS (American Board of Surgery). India-born Dr. Padmanabhan grew up in Kansas and completed his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Padmanabhan’s general surgery residency was at the University of Kansas in Wichita, Kansas. In 1991, Dr. Padmanabhan joined the United States Air Force as a reservist and stayed in this capacity until the year 2000. He joined Active Duty at this time until the end of 2004. He was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, spending time at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey.
